HSE Superintendent
Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan and implement the various programs and initiatives included in the fields of Health, Safety, Security and environment.
- Leader on the HSE team as Head Office local person directly responsible for HSE.
- Develop and implement HSE initiatives that will enhance a proactive HSE culture.
- Provide HSE assistance to site and branch based teams.
- Assist in developing reputable HSE performance KPls.
- Monitor the HSE performance through proper recording and analysis of incidents.
Requirements:
- A min of 5 yrs experience in HSE or 9 yrs experience in mining/related business.
- Computer Skills. (Ms. Office & Access)
- Strong awareness of general occupational health & security
- Experience in audits and investigations to improve HSE awareness and behavior.
- Mature, proactive, honest, disciplined, quick follow up, outgoing, able to lead and transform a diverse workforce to deliver results.
- Good written and oral communications & presentation skills.
