Vacancy: Sales Director - Australia

One of my client an MNC company in IT Consulting and Outsourcing, is currently looking for Sales Director for Australia (2 posts). I need one who has done IT Consulting and Outsourcing selling to Oil & Gas and Mining/ Mineral industry and the other one who has done IT Consulting and Outsourcing selling to Manufacturing industry.

SALES DIRECTOR

The Sales Development workgroup consists of individuals responsible for selling consulting, outsourcing and alliance capabilities. The Sales Development workgroup has three areas of focus: Sales Leadership, Sales Management, and Sales Enablement.

Sales Leadership is responsible for a number of sales process activities with specific annual sales targets.

The Sales Director seeks new clients and expands business with existing clients through our operating groups and capability groups.

Key responsibilities may include:

· Identifying potential leads independently (or with others) through networking, cold-calling, trade shows, public speaking, and/or other sources

· Developing relationships with potential buyers through personal meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, business networking, telephone calls, personal emails, personal mailings, business forums, and/or other business or social gatherings

· Generating client awareness and preference for the company and/or its services, which may include developing/sending promotional material, authoring articles, and presenting in business forums, charitable activities, business associations

· Identifying specific sales opportunities within clients and/or targets

· Recommending which opportunities that company should pursue using criteria such as highest probability of winning, and profit potential

· Supporting/participating in any oral proposal activities and reviewing written proposals

Key Requirements:

· 12-15+ years selling experience, with industry expertise and proven track record against multiple million dollar sales targets;

· experience in selling large scale projects to Fortune 100 firms or major public sector agencies including Minerals/ Oil & Gas/ Mining and Manufacturing industries

· The person must be an Australian or holding Australia PR.
