TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN


PT. Multi Kontrol Nusantara a subsidiary company of Bakrie Group of company that deals with companies who need to develop and strengthen the IT, Media and Telco Infrastructure are looking for suitable candidate to fill the following position.


TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Duties and Responsibilities : Responds to repair service calls to determine whether problem caused by the cable equipment, workmanship or indicates malfunction of equipment itself. Makes any necessary repairs and adjust equipment to optimize reception.Repairs lines after storm damage or other area line problems, and may be called upon to travel to other areas in emergency situations. Investigate to isolate cause of services interruption and test repairs.Technicians complete scheduled maintenance/service and other activities associated with the operation and maintenance of a cable, broadband, and telephony system on time.Explain use of equipment, including any necessary cable boxes or other accessories.Keeps log of visit, time spent, parts used and description of work performed.Offers suggestions to supervisors about improvements to area lines in cases of recurring problems. Requirement :Academic / Professional Qualification : Graduated min from Bachelor Degree / Diploma with related subjectWorking Experience : Min 2 (two) years of relevant working experience Expertise / Skills / Language : Knowledge of IP-Based Technology, LAN and design, Physically agility to climb to overhead structures and willingness to work at heights using proper safety procedures, ability on English written and spoken, communication skills Personal Attributes : Willingness to work flexible hours, communicative, analyticalOthers : Male
