Operations Engineering Manager

Basic Purpose:
To manage & coordinate the operations engineering activities at Onshore Operations Fields that includes: Oil & Gas Production Facilities and Gas Processing Plants in order to ensure that the Operating Assets are performing at optimum levels, and that value improving opportunities are being generated by the field operations engineers through exercising management function such as planning, organizing, actuating and controlling.

To coordinate implementing COP Operations Excellence practices in the area of Production Surveillance and Optimization in accordance to high safety standard practice, applicable company and government regulation and sound engineering practice

To manage interface between Operation, HSE group, Project Group, Operations Engineering Excellence Group and to become a full member of Onshore Venture(asset) team.

Operations Engineering Manager

Qualification & Experience:
• Engineering degree from recognized university or institution preferable from Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering
• Having 10-15 years experience in oil and gas industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skill
• Ability to lead and develop the Operations Engineering Staffs.
• Strong team player with proactive approach to decision making process
• Ability to work under diverse cultures and nationality

TREASURY

Job Description:
• Coordinate with other functions within the Business Unit in providing Treasury related services such as follows:
• Perform credit risk assessment and review of Treasury relates clauses on Gas Sales Agreement and other procurement related contracts with potential, buyers, contractors and vendors.
• Seek appropriate approval on from Corporate/Regional Treasury office on Treasury and ensure compliance to COP’s policy on Treasury related clauses stated on the Agreement.
• Monitor and manage collection activities for the Business Unit.
• Ensure all Treasury related activities are complied with COP Global Banking and Credit Policy, SOX, FCPA, Business Ethics Code of Conduct and other local requirements such as GETR (Government Expense Travel Requisition) and Facilitating Payment Policies and Procedures.
• Work together with Legal, Ethics, Development and Relationship departments to make sure all payment made associated with GETR and Facilitating Payments are appropriately documented and fully complied to current Policies and Procedures.
• Assist Business Unit in setting up Policies and Procedures associated with GETR, Facilitating Payments and other Policies and Procedures related to Banking/Treasury activities.
• Analyze the needs of issuing financial guarantees and/or setting up a bank account for the Business Unit and work together with Regional/Corporate Treasury in obtaining appropriate approval on each issuance and negotiate pricing with the bank for each financial guarantees issued for the Business Unit.
• Monitor and manage various Treasury daily activities ranging from managing short and long term excess cash, funding for the Business Unit to monitoring cash disbursement activities (using both electronic system and manual disbursement instruction for areas without electronic banking network).

Qualification & Experience:
• Degree in Finance/Accounting. Overseas graduate preferred
• Minimum 10 years experience - banking experience in trade finance and/or operation would be advantageous
• Finance Certification such as FRM, CFA would be advantageous
• Knowledge on PSC Accounting would be advantageous
